In-person
Buyers now research inside AI answers before they open ten blue links, and those answers cite brands that are genuinely well covered, not just the ones with the most blog posts. We need a content strategist who plans for both worlds: classic SEO and the newer world of AI citations, and who has actually written for a living, not just briefed people who did.
What you'll do
Own content strategy for a set of client accounts: what gets written, why, and in what order.
Write and edit content yourself when it matters, not only brief other writers.
Plan content for both search ranking and AI-answer citation: topic clusters, entity clarity, and structured content handoffs.
Brief and review work from our writer network so drafts hit the strategy, not just the word count.
Explain to clients why a piece did or didn't move the metric it was meant to move, and adjust the plan.
Track how AI engines are surfacing and citing content, and fold that into how you plan.
What we're looking for
1–3 years of hands-on content work with real ownership, not only execution.
Strong writing craft, backed by samples you're proud of, not just editing or managing other writers.
Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals plus how AI answer engines choose what to cite, and what that means for planning content.
Genuine, daily use of AI tools in your own workflow: research, drafting, editing, quality checks.
Comfortable defending a content decision with data, not only instinct.
Nice to have
Experience with schema markup or technical SEO handoffs.
Time on a content or marketing team at a SaaS company.
Compensation
₹4–7 LPA, based on experience.
