The role
At Mili, we're building the AI layer for wealth management. As a Product Engineer, you sit at the intersection of clients, product, and code — moving between customer conversations and production deployments without missing a beat. You own your charter end to end: from the first prototype to stable, scaled delivery.

What we are looking for
Builder at core- Strong CS fundamentals. You've shipped real things to real users. You know the difference between code that ships and code that lingers.
Product thinker- You don't just implement specs — you question them. You think about user workflows, edge cases, and the "why" before the "how."
Hungry and ambitious- You want to matter. You want to see your fingerprints on a product changing an industry. Ownership isn't a perk here — it's the default.
Relentless learner- You absorb fast. As excited to learn from this team as you are to contribute to it. Curiosity is non-negotiable.

What you'll own
Own technical delivery across multiple deployments — from first prototype to stable production.
Build full-stack systems that deliver real customer value and sharpen how the team learns.
Embed closely with customer teams — understand their needs firsthand and guide adoption of what you build.
Scope and sequence work — identify blockers early, make trade-offs between speed, quality, and scope, protect delivery.
Contribute directly in the code when progress or clarity depends on it — never just point and delegate.
Codify working patterns into tools, playbooks, and building blocks others on the team can reuse.
Share field feedback that helps Research and Product understand where the models succeed — and where they need to improve.
Keep teams moving through clarity, follow-through, and a relentless bias to action.

Share your portfolio and walk us through any product you've built in the last 1–2 years. We care less about where you've worked and more about what you've shipped. Side projects count. Open source counts. If you built it, own it, and can tell us what you'd do differently — we want to hear about it.
