This evaluation is designed to assess a candidate’s ability to teach chess effectively through a recorded video lesson for U.S.-based students (beginner to intermediate level).
Candidates are required to submit a 5–10 minute teaching video explaining a chess concept of their choice. The lesson should demonstrate clarity, structured teaching, engagement, and proper use of an online chess board (such as Chess.com or Lichess).
Evaluators will review the video using a binary (Yes/No) checklist, focusing only on observable teaching behaviors and presentation quality.
