eazli | Future Living, headquartered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is redefining how the Middle East lives, designs, and builds. We are creating an AI-native marketplace that connects homeowners with products and home services across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt. Powered by multilingual models and specialized AI agents, eazli is building the infrastructure layer of the MENA home economy, with ambitions extending into Europe and beyond.
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can own complete product capabilities across a Python/FastAPI backend and a React/Remix frontend. You will build customer and vendor journeys, design reliable APIs and data models, and connect agentic workflows to responsive, real-time user interfaces through standards such as the AG-UI protocol.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys moving across system boundaries, understands where responsibilities belong, and can take a feature from product requirement to production operation without compromising security, reliability, or maintainability.
· Own end-to-end product features across discovery, product and service detail, cart, checkout, payments, bookings, profiles, vendor operations, and administrative workflows.
· Build and maintain asynchronous backend APIs and services using Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, and Alembic.
· Develop customer-facing and operational interfaces using React, Remix, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and TanStack Query.
· Design clean API contracts, service boundaries, data models, authorization rules, database migrations, and resilient third-party integrations.
· Integrate AI agents and LLM-powered workflows into product experiences, including streaming responses, tool activity, progress, shared state, human approval, and error recovery.
· Implement or extend AG-UI protocol integrations between agent runtimes and frontend applications, translating agent events into safe, observable, and intuitive UI behavior.
· Use Redis, Kafka or equivalent messaging technologies, and event-driven patterns for caching, background work, orchestration, and reliable asynchronous flows.
· Integrate payment gateways, shipping providers, identity platforms, analytics, notifications, and S3-compatible storage.
· Write automated unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end tests, and contribute to CI/CD and deployment quality.
· Investigate production issues across browser, API, database, agent, and infrastructure layers using logs, traces, metrics, Sentry, Grafana, Prometheus, Kubernetes, and AWS tooling.
· Collaborate closely with product, UX, AI, backend, frontend, QA, and DevOps engineers, and contribute constructively through design reviews and code reviews.
· 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial hands-on ownership across both backend and frontend systems.
· Strong Python experience with FastAPI or a comparable asynchronous API framework, including async programming, validation, dependency injection, and error handling.
· Strong React and TypeScript experience in production applications, with sound knowledge of component architecture, state management, routing, and server-side rendering.
· Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, relational modelling, indexing, query optimization, transactions, SQLAlchemy, and production database migrations.
· Experience designing secure REST APIs and integrating typed frontend clients using OpenAPI or equivalent contracts.
· Practical understanding of authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0/OIDC, roles, permissions, and secure session or token handling.
· Experience with Redis and asynchronous or event-driven processing using Kafka, queues, streams, or comparable technologies.
· Strong understanding of distributed-system concerns such as idempotency, retries, timeouts, circuit breakers, eventual consistency, and Saga-style workflows.
· Comfort with Docker, CI/CD, automated testing, Git-based workflows, and debugging containerized services.
· Ability to turn ambiguous product requirements into coherent technical designs and production-ready features.
· Experience integrating applications with AI agents, LLM services, tool-calling workflows, or orchestration frameworks.
· Understanding of event-driven agent-to-UI interaction: streaming output, lifecycle events, state synchronization, tool results, interruptions, approvals, retries, and cancellation.
· Familiarity with AG-UI or a comparable agent/user-interface event protocol; direct production experience with AG-UI is strongly preferred.
· Ability to design guardrails and fallback behavior so AI-assisted journeys remain secure, testable, observable, and usable when an agent or external tool fails.
· Production experience with Remix, TanStack Query, Tailwind CSS, and OpenAPI-generated clients.
· Experience building React Native applications or contributing to a shared web/mobile product ecosystem.
· Experience with ecommerce, marketplaces, checkout, payments, refunds, subscriptions, logistics, bookings, or vendor platforms.
· Working knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes, particularly deploying or debugging services in EKS or a similar environment.
· Experience with observability and product analytics platforms such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, Mixpanel, or equivalent tools.
· Experience with multilingual products, localization, accessibility, frontend performance, feature flags, and experimentation.
· Experience working in monorepos and shared-package architectures.
· You independently ship a coherent feature across UI, API, persistence, integrations, tests, observability, and deployment.
· You make sound boundary decisions: what belongs in the browser, route loader, API, domain service, database, event handler, or agent workflow.
· You treat AI behavior as part of the system—not a black box—and design deterministic controls around non-deterministic capabilities.
· You balance delivery speed with security, typing discipline, data consistency, performance, and long-term maintainability.
· You communicate trade-offs clearly, challenge assumptions constructively, and raise the engineering standard of the team.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience is also valued.
· Full-time, remote role.
· ESOP shall be available based on performance and affinity for the right candidate.
· A high-ownership environment focused on meaningful outcomes, continuous learning, experimentation, and intelligent systems—not only isolated UI or API delivery.
· Genuine passion for AI, product engineering, and solving difficult customer problems.
· Startup mindset: ownership, pragmatism, adaptability, and comfort working across disciplines.
· Curiosity and a strong inclination toward research, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
· A collaborative engineer who can move quickly while protecting quality, reliability, and trust.
