PrettyJobs is building [one-sentence description of the product and who it serves]. We're a team of [size] people who care about [core value, e.g. craft, speed, customer obsession], and design sits at the center of how we decide what to build and why.
We're looking for a Product Designer to own the end-to-end experience of [product area or feature set]. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to turn complex problems into simple, intuitive, and beautiful experiences. This is a hands-on role where you'll shape ideas from early sketches through to shipped product, and then keep improving them based on what you learn from real users.
Lead design for key product areas from discovery through delivery, including problem framing, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI.
Partner with product and engineering to define requirements, weigh tradeoffs, and decide what to build next based on user needs and business goals.
Plan and run lightweight research such as user interviews, usability tests, and concept validation, and turn findings into clear design decisions.
Build interactive prototypes to communicate ideas, test assumptions quickly, and align stakeholders before engineering investment.
Contribute to and help evolve our design system so that the product stays consistent, accessible, and fast to build on.
Collaborate with engineers during implementation to make sure the shipped experience matches the intent, and review builds with a sharp eye for detail.
Use data and qualitative feedback after launch to measure impact and iterate.
Share work openly through critiques and reviews, giving and receiving thoughtful feedback.
[3–5+] years of experience designing digital products, ideally in a [B2B SaaS / consumer / mobile] environment.
A portfolio that shows your process as well as your final work: how you framed problems, explored options, made decisions, and measured outcomes.
Strong interaction and visual design skills, with a solid grasp of hierarchy, typography, layout, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
Fluency in Figma, including components, auto layout, variables, and prototyping.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to move from big-picture strategy to pixel-level detail.
Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to explain design rationale to non-designers.
A collaborative mindset and genuine curiosity about users, the business, and how things get built.
Experience working within or building a design system at scale.
Familiarity with front-end basics (HTML, CSS, or component-based frameworks) or experience prototyping in code or with AI tools.
Background in [relevant domain, e.g. fintech, healthcare, developer tools].
Experience with product analytics tools such as [Amplitude / Mixpanel / Hotjar].
Competitive salary of [range] plus [equity / bonus].
[Health, dental, and vision coverage].
[Flexible or remote work policy].
[Learning and development budget] for courses, conferences, and books.
[Paid time off / parental leave / other benefits].
A team that values design and gives you real ownership over the product.
