Why this Role Exists
TRADL's brand is how most traders will encounter us first - through a social post, a newsletter graphic, or a product screenshot shared in a WhatsApp group. As we scale, the volume and variety of visual content we need is growing fast: social media, in-product graphics, campaign assets, and brand collateral. This role exists to give our design output the bandwidth and creative energy it needs while keeping everything visually consistent and sharp.

We are looking for an intern who can produce high-quality visual work across formats, move fast without sacrificing craft, and bring a genuine point of view on what good brand design looks like in fintech.

What You'll Own

Social Media Creatives: Design posts, carousels, reels covers, and stories for Instagram, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn.
In-Product Graphics: Create illustrations, icons, visual assets, and explainer graphics that make complex financial concepts feel approachable inside the product.
Brand Collateral: Work on pitch decks, newsletter graphics (email and PDF), event collateral, and any one-off visual projects that come up as we grow.
Brand Consistency: Help maintain and evolve TRADL's visual identity across every touchpoint. Ensure typography, colour, layout, and tone stay cohesive whether it's a LinkedIn post or an onboarding screen.
Creative Ideation: Contribute original visual ideas for campaigns and content - not just execute briefs. We want someone who has opinions about what works and why.

What We're Looking For

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
Strong portfolio demonstrating social media design, brand work, or digital illustration. We care about taste and craft, not length.
Proficiency in Figma. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or Canva is a plus.
A sharp eye for typography, colour, composition, and layout - especially at small screen sizes.
Ability to take a rough idea or brief and turn it into polished output without heavy hand-holding.
Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team with short feedback loops and quick turnarounds.

Bonus Points

You follow fintech or trading content and have a sense for what resonates with retail traders on social media.
Experience with motion graphics or short-form video editing (After Effects, CapCut, or similar).
Basic understanding of how design assets get implemented on web and mobile.
You've worked on brand identity projects - logo systems, style guides, or visual language development.
