This is not a typical QA/QC civil role.
At GreenJams, the QA/QC Civil Engineer is the bridge between R&D, Operations, and the Customer.
You will ensure that our construction materials — Agrocrete®, BINDR™ and Novastone™ — perform flawlessly at project sites, meet GreenJams’ stringent quality standards, and stay true to the R&D mix design and SOPs.
You will also work directly with developers, contractors, and site engineers to ensure correct usage, resolve issues, document field learnings, and feed insights back into R&D.
Think of this role as part QA/QC engineer, part field-applications engineer, part customer success engineer — positioned directly under the R&D team.
Develop and enforce GreenJams’ QA/QC protocols across all contract manufacturing partners.
Conduct routine inspections of block/brick/paver production batches.
Validate mixes, curing processes, compressive strength tests, and dimensional accuracy.
Flag deviations, enforce corrections, and escalate recurring quality issues.
Maintain quality logs, batch reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Ensure SOP compliance at every stage of production.
Support site teams (developers, contractors, masons) in correct installation and usage of Agrocrete®, Novastone™ and BINDR™ products.
Visit project sites to inspect blockwork quality, mortar usage, workmanship, jointing, curing, and alignment.
Troubleshoot on-site challenges and coordinate with Ops & R&D to resolve them.
Demonstrate correct usage techniques to masons and supervisors.
Conduct mock-ups, trial panels, and sample installations when required.
Act as the technical single point of contact for assigned projects.
Ensure customers experience smooth onboarding, correct installation, and zero-defect performance.
Proactively monitor each project to prevent quality failures.
Build strong relationships with project engineers and site managers.
Document customer feedback and translate it into actionable improvements.
Provide structured, real-world performance data to the R&D team.
Report failure modes, site deviations, or unexpected behaviour of materials.
Capture field learnings, environmental effects, workmanship impacts, and installation issues.
Work with R&D to refine SOPs, mixes, installation guides, and troubleshooting protocols.
Assist with field trials of new R&D products.
Ensure contract manufacturing units follow the approved processes.
Cross-check raw material quality and report anomalies.
Audit manufacturing units regularly and maintain compliance checklists.
Report capacity, output, wastage, and QC metrics to Ops & R&D leadership.
You work under R&D, not Operations — because your role is to ensure product performance, not just product manufacturing.
You are the eyes and ears of the company on the ground.
You ensure customer satisfaction, zero quality failures, and flawless execution.
You directly influence product development and improvements.
This is an ideal role for a civil engineer who loves both site work and technical product quality, and who wants to build a career in advanced construction materials.
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Diploma + experience also acceptable).
1–4 years experience in QA/QC, site execution, RMC, block/paver QC, or building materials.
Strong understanding of concrete, masonry, precast, or building products preferred.
Ability to travel to manufacturing units and project sites.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Technically curious
Hands-on and proactive
Strong bias for quality and detail
Comfortable dealing with contractors and site conditions
Loves solving real-world problems
Confident in enforcing standards and pushing teams for compliance
