Location: On-site (Bangalore – India)
Role Type: Full-time, Founding Engineer
H2LooP.ai is building next-generation sovereign coding models and context platforms for system engineers across embedded systems, robotics, UAV, avionics, automotive, consumer electronics, and industrial IoT.
Our core team comes from Google, Toshiba, Cisco, Bosch, Philips, and NXP.
As a Founding Engineer, you won’t just write firmware ,you will bridge real hardware with AI-driven engineering workflows and help define how future system engineers build software.
Validate H2LooP coding models directly on real embedded boards and robotics/UAV platforms.
Bring up and verify hardware across ST, NXP, and similar MCU/MPU ecosystems.
Act as the bridge between AI/ML teams and embedded engineering, ensuring models understand real-world firmware workflows.
Prepare and curate model training data from firmware codebases, datasheets, schematics, and system artifacts.
Develop AI agents for UAV and robotics engineering workflows (build, debug, integration automation).
Run firmware workloads and system tests across real devices.
Liaise with hardware partners and internal platform teams to validate SoC performance.
Manage and mentor a team of ~6 embedded/firmware engineers.
Support customer POCs by deploying models on physical systems and validating engineering use cases.
Help define best practices for AI-assisted firmware development and system validation.
This is a deeply hands-on 0→1 role — ideal for someone who enjoys coding, hardware debugging, and building platforms from scratch.
Strong embedded firmware experience (C/C++, RTOS, Embedded Linux).
Hands-on with STMicroelectronics, NXP, or similar MCU/MPU platforms.
Experience in UAV, robotics, or real-time system development.
Board bring-up, BSP development, drivers, and hardware validation.
Comfortable working close to code — debugging, profiling, and system-level analysis.
Experience coordinating across hardware, firmware, and AI teams.
Proven leadership ability managing small engineering teams.
Full-stack robotics or UAV system experience.
Exposure to edge AI pipelines or model evaluation workflows.
Experience working with ROS, PX4, or robotics middleware.
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools or developer automation.
Experience in avionics, defence, or automotive firmware environments.
Prior startup or founding engineer experience.
Founding level compensation + meaningful equity.
Direct ownership of embedded platform direction at H2LooP.
Work at the intersection of firmware, AI, robotics, and sovereign engineering platforms.
Opportunity to build and lead a high-impact deep-tech team from day one.
Collaboration with global partners across semiconductors, robotics, and AI.
