We are looking for instructors with expertise in Premiere Pro, Photoshop & Design, and After Effects. As a teaching assistant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students by delivering high-quality, engaging, and practical training sessions. Your role will include leading live classes, providing feedback on assignments, mentoring, and contributing to our active Discord community.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Engaging Live Sessions for Community: Take live sessions focusing on your area of expertise, ensuring that content is both educational and interactive.
Mentorship and Support: Offer guidance and feedback to students on their assignments during live sessions and through our Discord community.
Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the curriculum development team to create and refine course materials that meet industry standards and student needs.
Community Engagement: Actively participate in our Discord community, providing additional support, answering questions, and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in video editing and the design market to ensure our students receive cutting-edge training.
Leadership: Lead a team of mentors, track student progress and feedback, and develop strategies to maximize community engagement and completion rates.
Qualifications:
A combination of any two of the skills in Premiere Pro/Sound Design/Photoshop & Design/After Effects listed below is required:
Premiere Pro
Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro with a proven track record of editing for both clients and personal projects.
Strong ability to understand the fundamentals of cuts, dialogue, and storytelling.
Proficiency in design and animation within Premiere Pro, with the ability to create visually appealing content efficiently
Sound Design
Proficiency in sound design, with a strong ability to analyze and break down trailers, videos, and movies to understand the reasoning behind sound choices.
Deep understanding of how specific sounds influence the emotional impact of a video, movie, or trailer.
Understanding of how to build a good taste with sounds.
Ability to recreate soundscapes by sourcing similar or identical resources, ensuring the audio quality aligns with the intended emotional and narrative goals.
Photoshop & Design
Expertise in advanced Photoshop techniques, particularly in object manipulation and compositing to create compelling and visually striking assets.
A well-curated personal bank of assets, including textures and a versatile set of typography, to enhance creative projects.
Understanding taste in design & asset collection.
Exceptional understanding of fundamental design principles, with the ability to apply them effectively in various contexts.
After Effects
Proficiency in motion design with a strong focus on conceptualization, turning abstract ideas into original and impactful motion graphics within After Effects.
Ability to draw inspiration & recreate from existing work and innovate, creating unique and visually compelling content from scratch.
Expertise in making something out of nothing, demonstrating a deep understanding of the creative process and the tools required to bring concepts to life.
