At LoudLabs, social media is not where content goes to die politely after publishing.
It is where news wins or loses attention in public.
We work with India’s leading digital news channel, and this role exists to make sure news is packaged, positioned, and pushed correctly across YouTube and Instagram, both long-form and short-form.
This is not a posting role.
This is a distribution, packaging, and performance role across platforms.
If you think Instagram is just captions and YouTube is just uploads, this role will break that illusion fast.
You think in CTR, retention, saves, shares, and watch time
You understand how the same story needs different packaging on different platforms
You treat titles, thumbnails, captions, and hooks as editorial tools
You are comfortable making fast calls under pressure
You enjoy testing and killing ideas without attachment
Own publishing and performance for YouTube and Instagram
Decide titles, thumbnails, captions, hooks, and post timing
Work closely with editors and designers on packaging
Adapt news stories differently for:
YouTube long-form
YouTube Shorts
Instagram Reels
Instagram Feed
Track daily performance and spot patterns early
Push winning formats harder and kill underperforming ones
Feed platform insights back into editorial and production teams
You are not here to “execute briefs”.
You are here to shape how news travels.
Instagram Reels are shared, not just viewed
YouTube CTR improves without misleading the audience
Captions add clarity, not noise
Platform-specific packaging is intentional
Performance insights influence future stories
If growth feels accidental, something is wrong.
People who only schedule posts
Social managers who avoid analytics
Anyone who treats Instagram as an aesthetic platform only
Anyone uncomfortable saying “this won’t work”
This role rewards judgment and speed.
Hands-on experience managing YouTube and Instagram for content-led brands
Clear understanding of algorithms and platform behaviour
Strong instincts for headlines, hooks, thumbnails, and captions
Comfort reading analytics and making decisions from them
News experience is a strong plus.
Judgment matters more than years.
Ownership of distribution for a massive news audience
Direct influence on editorial and production decisions
Freedom to experiment without long approval cycles
Growth based on results, not tenure
A team that treats social as strategy, not support
