Delhi
Role: YouTube Channel Manager Location: Delhi · Full-time · In-office
About the role
The job, in one line: own the entire life of an episode after it's recorded.
By the time Prakhar finishes a recording, the conversation is done. Everything that happens next — the title, the thumbnail, when it goes up, where it goes up, which 8 clips get cut from it, how it does in the first 48 hours, what we change next time — that's you.
This is the role that decides whether a great conversation reaches 50,000 people or 5 million. We've had episodes that should have done much better than they did. That's the gap we're hiring you to close.
What you'll do
Own YouTube as a channel. Titles, thumbnails, packaging, descriptions, end screens, playlists. Every lever.
Own publishing across Spotify, Apple, and any other platform we're on.
Decide which moments from each episode get cut as clips, in what order, on what platform.
Watch retention graphs. Find where viewers drop off. Tell the team what to do differently.
Run experiments. New title formulas, new thumbnail styles, new posting times. Track what works.
Be the person who knows our numbers cold. CTR, AVD, retention curve, traffic sources. Not vibes. Numbers.
What we're looking for
You've grown a YouTube channel before. Yours, someone else's, doesn't matter. You know the platform from the inside, not from a course.
You think about thumbnails and titles the way good writers think about headlines. They're the entire job.
You watch a lot of YouTube. You can name 5 channels whose packaging you respect, and explain why.
You're proactive. You don't wait to be told what to optimise. You see the gap, you fix it, you tell the team after.
You read analytics like a language. You can look at a retention graph and tell us a story.
2 to 4 years running a YouTube channel, podcast distribution, or social media operations. Real ownership of metrics, not assisting on them.
