AI Engineer

We're looking for an AI Engineer to help us build, ship, and scale intelligent systems at the core of our product. You'll work at the intersection of applied machine learning, software engineering, and product thinking - turning state-of-the-art models into real-world features that delight users.
This is a high-ownership role. You'll have a direct hand in shaping how AI capabilities are designed, evaluated, and deployed across the company.
What you'll do
Design and build LLM-powered features and pipelines end-to-end
Fine-tune, prompt-engineer, and evaluate foundation models for production
Develop RAG systems, agents, and tool-use architectures
Integrate AI models into scalable backend services and APIs
Instrument and monitor AI systems to ensure quality and reliability
Collaborate with product and design to shape AI-driven user experiences
Stay current with AI research and evaluate new models and techniques
What you'll bring
3+ years of software engineering experience
Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, open-source)
Proficiency in Python; comfort with ML frameworks like PyTorch or JAX
Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search
Strong understanding of prompt engineering and evaluation techniques
Familiarity with MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring tools
Excellent communication and ability to work cross-functionally
Nice to have
Experience building AI agents or multi-step reasoning pipelines
Contributions to open-source ML projects or published AI research
Familiarity with model safety, alignment, or red-teaming practices
Background with cloud AI services (AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, GCP Vertex)
