UX Designer + Developer (Full-time / Internship, On-site)

Company Description:
Faraday is a VC-funded, consumer-tech firm based out of Mumbai, building the world's tidiest and most intelligent email client. We're looking for a sharp UX developer with strong design sensibilities to craft and build interfaces that are fast, beautiful, and a joy to use.

Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Frontend designer/developer based out of our Mumbai office. It may begin with a short-term remote stint / internship to allow the candidate an ease-in period.

The candidate will:

• Build and ship production-ready UI components — consistent, accessible, and visually polished.

• Design and translate Figma mockups into clean, responsive front-end code with precision.

• Collaborate closely with the founders and engineering team to shape product decisions, not just execute them.

The candidate must:

• Have strong proficiency in HTML, CSS and working proficiency in JavaScript and React.

• Possess a genuine eye for design — spacing, typography, color, motion. If bad kerning bothers you, we're on the same page.

• Be very good in working with Figma — designing, editing, exporting.

• Quickly build a smooth scroll-jacking experience on a dummy page — transitioning a section from one state to another, inspired by the Chaotic → Orderly section on Faraday's own landing page (https://faraday.email). Use any tools, AI or frameworks you'd like. Please host it on a cloud server, and submit the deployed link along with your resume.
